Greetings friends, countrymen, and strangers alike,
First, a little about me… I recently started my first
semester of graduate school in biblical and theological studies. Ever the
overachiever and not one to back down from a challenge, I enrolled in a class
called Theology of Leadership where the first day my professor informed the
class that this class was the hardest
class that he teaches and he wouldn’t think less of us if we decided to drop
it. A little daunted and my curiosity aroused, I decided to accept his less
than subtle challenge.
I invite you, dear reader, to join me on this journey where I will grapple with how to understand leadership in light of theology. The subsequent posts will be some of my musings on how different areas of theology shape and influence how I lead. Throughout the semester and possibly afterwards, I will interact with anyone who would like to join me on this adventure.
